At Blind Bean Roasters, our story is a testament to the remarkable power of transformation, family, and unwavering determination. Our journey began in 1988 when Rich Pavlik's life underwent three profound changes. He met the love of his life, Jayne, embarked on a spiritual journey to become a Christian, and was confronted with a challenging diagnosis of Retinitis Pigmentosa, a condition that gradually robs one of their sight. 

Throughout the years, Rich's life continued to evolve, with one constant at its core - his unshakable commitment to his family. This commitment led him to create a family business that would not only provide the finest, freshly roasted coffee for himself and Jayne but would also embrace a broader mission of empowerment and inclusion.

In the year 2020, Blind Bean Roasters was born, a coffee venture with a heartwarming story. Rich Pavlik brings his wealth of business expertise to the forefront, while Jayne, his loving partner, masterminds the creation of exquisite coffee blends that have become the hallmark of our brand. Together, they have crafted a business that embodies love, passion, and excellence.

But our journey is about more than just coffee; it's about making a meaningful impact in our community. Rich Pavlik's involvement as a member of the Board of the Disability Empowerment Center in Lancaster, PA, has allowed us to forge partnerships that extend far beyond the coffee beans. We are proud to provide distribution opportunities for non-profit organizations that empower adults with disabilities through meaningful employment.
